You’re here! You want to know what it’s like to work with Love Kay Collective.
I would love to tell you.

Listen, if you’ve ever scrolled through a photographer’s portfolio and wondered, “What actually happens during a session like that?”  …you’re not alone. Whether you’re booking a boudoir session, maternity portraits, or professional branding photos, it’s totally normal to feel a mix of excitement and nerves before stepping in front of the camera.

At Love Kay Collective, my goal is to take the mystery out of the process and replace it with confidence, comfort, and creativity.

Every session, no matter the type, is designed to make you feel celebrated, seen, and effortlessly beautiful.

I orbit my work around showing off who you are.

So let’s talk through some of the questions I hear the most before my client’s book:

What happens at a Boudoir Session?

Booking with at the studio means stepping into a space that’s both professional and empowering. Our studio is private, safe, and intentionally designed to help you feel at ease from the moment you walk in.

You’ll start with professional makeup and light hairstyling to help you look and feel your best. From there, we’ll go over outfit options. I help style you, because I know that’s one of the hardest parts! Whether that’s something from your own collection or pieces from our curated client closet. And when it comes to posing? You don’t need to know a thing. Every session includes full direction and posing coaching, (that’s literally my job!) so you’ll feel confident and supported throughout.

It’s about so much more than photos… it’s about rediscovering your confidence and celebrating every version of you.

When Should I Book Maternity Photos with Love Kay Collective?

For studio maternity photography, the sweet spot is typically between 28–34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully round but you’re still comfortable moving and posing.

Our Studio Mama sessions are designed to feel like a full experience, not just a quick shoot. Each includes up to four looks, professional glam, access to studio props, and editorial lighting that brings your vision to life. Read more about that experience in this blog post HERE.

Some clients choose soft, minimal looks with flowing gowns and timeless neutrals; others go bold with body-hugging silhouettes or even dramatic black-and-white portraits. Either way, the result is always magazine-worthy imagery. You deserve to feel like a freakin’ super model while you’re literally growing a human!

What’s the Difference Between Headshots and Branding Photos?

If you’re looking for a branding photographer in Tampa, you may wonder: aren’t branding photos just headshots?

Not quite. Headshots focus on a polished, professional image. Branding sessions, on the other hand, tell the story of your business and personality. We’ll plan intentional locations, props, and wardrobe that align with your brand identity.

It’s a creative collaboration designed to help you show up online with authenticity, confidence, and style. Want to know more about branding sessions? Click here to read more about that experience.

Do I Need to Know How to Pose?

Absolutely not. Whether it’s your first time in front of a camera or your tenth, every session with me includes expert posing and direction. You’ll never be left wondering what to do with your hands or how to stand. My job is to guide you through natural movement that feels comfortable and looks amazing on camera. And I have spent countless hours studying posing for all body types and session styles.

The Love Kay Collective Philosophy

No matter the season of life you’re in, I believe celebrating yourself through imagery is important. Be it: boudoir, documenting motherhood through maternity, or showcasing your business through branding… my mission remains the same:

Every version of you deserves to be seen  and photographed in a modern, editorial way.

Because when you step into the studio, you’re not just taking photos. You’re stepping into confidence, empowerment, and a visual story that’s entirely your own. As a Tampa photographer, I would be honored to help you with this mission. Click here to get in touch!
